Day 11: Pick one thing you miss (I know there are 19238923842039402394 things) and describe it in detail.
Emily: “One of the many, many, many things that I miss about being with Jen in person is the ability to hold her hand. It’s so perfect too. When we’re walking down the street, she’s just tall enough for our hands to easily find themselves. I love riding in the car, because more often than not, our hands are together - whether I’m driving or she’s driving. Did I mention how our hands are about the same size so holding hands is always comfortable? Definitely a plus. :) There’s just a sense of security I feel when I hold her hand, and there is a sense of closeness that can’t be compared.”
Jen: “There are so many things to miss about Emily when she’s not around. It’s the feel of her arms around me, the comfort in falling asleep together on the couch in the middle of a movie. It is so many things to miss, so many things to love about her, so many things to miss. But if I had to choose just one thing to miss about Em, it’s definitely the feel of her hand in mine. One of the best and loveliest things about our times together is when I reach out for her hand and its just there. There is comfort in the gesture and also tenderness. The feeling of safety and protection, the feeling of being together as a couple and the feeling of love. When she’s not here, there is no way to emulate the feeling of her hand in mine and I miss it. I miss it all the time.”
